Indian Mysore Sandalwood, also known as Indian Sandalwood, originates from India. It is characterized by typically large, straight logs with a smooth, dense grain and a pure, mellow fragrance, making it the finest variety of sandalwood . This tree grows exceptionally slowly, often taking several decades to mature, ranking it among the world's slowest-growing tree species. Mature trees can reach heights of up to 10 meters.

✅ Primary Origin: Indian Mysore Sandalwood is primarily sourced from the Mysore region of India, especially the tropical forests of Eastern India. Its extremely slow growth rate (decades to maturity) contributes to its rarity and value.

 Scent Profile: The aroma is distinctive. Initially, it presents a sweet, milky fragrance reminiscent of condensed milk. This gradually evolves into a deeper, woody base note – calm, gentle, and complex. The scent molecules are highly stable, allowing the fragrance to linger for hours or more.
