A string of high-quality sandalwood beads handcrafted bracelet undergoes dozens of meticulous processes from raw wood to finished product. We adhere to traditional craftsmanship standards to ensure that each bead reaches the desired state.
1. Material Selection & Cutting: Craftspeople carefully choose premium sandalwood, evaluating grain, color consistency, and natural character.
2. Positioning & Drilling: Precisely locate the center and drill vertically to ensure straight,
centered holes.
3. Hand Turning: Shape the square blocks into round beads. Hold the block by hand
against the lathe blade, shaping the bead by touch and experience.
4. Progressive Sanding: Dry sand from 120 to 5000 grit in 12 stages. No wax, no oil, no sealing.
5. Hand Stringing: Caliper-check size tolerance (within 0.5mm). Check each hole individually, removing any burrs. Hand-string with elastic cord. Tie two times knot for durability.
6. Cleaning & Quality Check: Gently wipe dust with soft cloth. Conduct pull test before packaging.
No chemical treatment throughout the process — preserving the natural oil and color of sandalwood.
